When we got off the boat we got back in the van and Henry took us back out. It was amazing. We saw a ton of water buffalo. It was so funny. We learned that the herd pushes out the older guys so when you see one on their own, they are typically an old man buffalo. I think they look funny but kinda cute in their own ugly way.We were bound and determined to find an Elephant. AND we had quite a crazy interaction. We came upon an elephant party. They were moving across the road and we were in between the juvenile elephant and the herd.
It was nutty! We moved down the road as the elephant tried to cross. He got very scared, and as he got scared he turned toward us. It totally freaked me out because i was sitting on top of the van at the side where he would have hit first. I missed a great picture because i was planning my escape route. It was nuts!!! Beth got this picture while i was trying to keep from letting Brooke fall off the van, and myself from dying.
